Assessment

Level 4 Diploma in Computing is internally assessed and externally verified by NCC Education. As parts of assessment, assignments and examinations evaluate the growth of students. The purpose of assignments is to understand a student’s potential to demonstrate his/her knowledge alongside practical skills which are relevant to the situation. With an examination or written test, teachers can evaluate a student’s excellence in one particular domain. Examinations assess a student’s capability to recall information, demonstrate understanding and solve problems in individual units. On the whole, assignments and examinations evaluate both – cognitive and practical competence.

Entry Requirements

NCC Education Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES) or Level 3 Diploma in Computing (L3DC) or 1 GCE ‘A’ Level pass

  • English language passing criteria:

Minimum score of 5.5 in IELTS – International English Language Testing System or GCE ‘O’ Level English C6

  • For mature applicants:

Over 2 years of relevant work experience and GCE ‘O’ Level / IGCSE English and Maths or equivalent
