Modules

Prior to the global COVID-19 pandemic, healthcare systems around the world were under growing pressure to deliver better services for less. With this in mind, we have developed a Master’s degree that includes new, inclusive and efficient models of personalised care and management.

Students will work with tutors to develop critical thinking and research skills around organisational behaviour and patient-centric care. In addition, the course will ask students to leverage on their experience to create solutions for real-world situations. Similarly, students will be asked to apply their newly acquired knowledge to the improvement of these new healthcare management practices.

We have worked with the OTHM, a UK-based higher education body, to develop the online MSc in Health and Social Management. The OTHM partnership ensures course quality and relevancy.

During the healthcare management MSc, students will study six units (each worth 20 credits), along with a dissertation module (60 credits).

At King’s, we are committed to making education as open and accessible as possible. For this reason, we deliver the MSc in Healthcare Management online from our VLE; this ensures students from both the UAE and around the world can benefit from the master’s course.

Study Options

We teach the Master’s degree via our virtual learning environment. Wherever students have an internet connection they will be able to join lectures, read library resources, call tutors and more. And to improve accessibility, we record and upload every lecture, so students can study at their convenience. As a result, the MSc in Healthcare Management is a great choice for students who want to continue working while they study.

A flexi-payment plan is also available for this healthcare management course; students can fund the Master’s degree on a full-time or a part-time basis.

Online Learning — How Does it Work?

King’s online learning blends comfort with quality. Each lecture is recorded and posted to the VLE; this allows students to catch up on study around work and home commitments. Similarly, students can arrange one-to-one sessions with tutors at a time that suits them.

Beyond the VLE, students can access the library, set up study groups, and create online spaces to share with their peers. While students may study remotely, they will never feel as if they are studying alone.

Those with the drive to improve their career prospects will find our online Master’s in Healthcare Management a rewarding and enriching experience.
