We offer two study options for our Online Human Resource Management Master’s Degree. A full, 180-credit master’s, and a top-up master’s.
Students with a relevant level 7 qualification can join the top-up master’s. So, these students only need to finish the 60-credit thesis module (Consultancy Report Project) of the MA in HRM degree to graduate.
Students with a level 6 qualification (a BA in HRM, for example) will join the full master’s degree. This includes 7 modules of study (listed below). We have designed each module with flexible learning in mind. As a result, students can apply broad concepts, such as problem-solving, ethics, and managing workers to a variety of industries.
During the thesis module, students will work with tutors to create a study topic. They will then plan, design, run and report their findings.
To complete the full master’s degree, students need 180 credits from the seven modules; this totals 1200 hours of learning.
To complete the top-up master’s degree, students need 60 credits from the Dissertation module.
Students can study our online Human Resource Management Master’s Degree part-time or full-time study. Being an online programme, students can continue to work while completing their degree at King’s.
Students enrolling on the full masters can study and pay on a module-by-module basis.
All sessions with King’s are held on our virtual learning environment (VLE). As a result, students can access classes and more at their convenience via the VLE — King’s cloud campus.
All course content is available for on-demand viewing. In addition, students can plan one-to-one sessions with their tutors to fit around their commitments.
At King’s, we pride ourselves on our student experience. We support students during their time with us (and beyond) through academic support, employment help, and pastoral care. From the first enquiry, through to graduation and beyond, our team will be with you every step of the way.
